It would be intersting for all of us ........
So how long is Mario working in Japan?
Seems to be he bought some fantastic trees there and refine them the last few years. - Congratulations!
Mario must be very happy to be able to get trees for a really good prize in Japan! - No one would be able to build up a collection like this in Europe or in The States in such a short time (> maybe you have to be a millionaire...)
Wolfgang
ps: This Carpinus-Shohin is amazing!

Post subject:  Great bonsai Mario

Mario, you are a very lucky and very hard working guy. It is a pleasure to know you, because you also is a very nice guy.
It is always a great experience to see the work performed on great material when it has been in the hands of a good artist. Your trees (I am especially thinking of your prize winning ones) are amazing.
Congratulation as well with a nice presentation in Bonsai Europe. Look forward to meet you again.
Best regards
Morten Albek
