I must admit to finding your trees and photography some of the most inspirational. Your photography is stunning, you obviously have a good eye for colors and contrasts, I was quite shocked after looking down all those beautiful dark pictures to come across the Trident Maple photograph, it was quite a shock but on reflection, it works! The other photograph I really loved was this one:
Truly astounding, the tree itself is stunning as well.
Note that although I pick out a few particular favorites, I find all your trees wonderful, your sense of perfection is fantastic!!.

Thanks Rowan,
The tree that you posted is one of those "you really like it or you really hate it" kind of trees I guess, because I've gotten both kind of comments on this one. Anyway I'm glad your one of the ones that like it, and am truly glad you like my work. Take care.

Thomas, i think the reason i like it is because it reminds me in some ways of African planes trees, i love Tanzania and that kind of area so it greatly appeals to me.
Wonderful trees.

That's really funny!
I wanted to say for a long time that this tree reminds me of the baobab trees of Africa, but I never had to courage to post it since it sounded a little surreal.
Now that Rowan said the word, I can safely come out and confess.

This doesn't really surprize me. I've had others say the exact same thing about this tree. I for one don't really see this, but what the heck, I'm glad that those who do see something, are liking it. I guess that's what art is all about isn't it? And if it's not liked, at least it's something different to ponder to varying likes and dislikes.

Baobab was the first thing I thought when I saw that tree... great job on the unique styling
