Andy, I love your trees. It seems that you have a penchant for bunjin. Is this true?
Your first spruce you indicate makes you less than totally happy. Perhaps its because it slants to the right but the weight of the branches is a bit more on the right, causing a visual instability. What if you made the left side foliage a bit heavier?

My best word to describe Andy's work is "rustic". I agree with Jerry, the bunjin feel comes through in almost every display. That, of course, is inherent in the nature of collected material, but Andy gives them the extra grace.
It's nice to see consistency of vision and bold display of one's personal taste in a bonsai artist's work. Quality that often lacks in bonsai... an art form riddled with conformism and lack of personal voice.
