Great article! I come from an engineering perspective and for me rules and order are nice and sensible - if I do this then I get this result! Art for me is a very difficult concept to understand. That is what makes art so wonderful and powerful in life - many may understand the rules applied and be able to analyse but to perform art takes a way of looking at things that is beyond the majority of us! For me as an engineer 2+2=4 I love that for an artist 2+2=FDWFHWI

Robert does write some compelling material, and I believe that this next book is going to be better than the first.

Euan: The difference between Art and Engineering is when the artist/engineer is able to turn on his/her feelings. After the work of the analytical Engineer is accomplished it is time for the adventurer to go where none have gone before.
