Great explanation and I appreciate the effort that went into the screenshots Will.
I'd just like to add that Jasc/Corel/Adobe's Paint Shop Pro will do exactly the same for a lot less cash. I've used both professionally and appreciate the advanced features of Photoshop (which are undeniably the print industry standard) but prefer the user friendliness of Paint Shop Pro for quick virtuals that will stand up in all but the most demanding print situations.

My thanks also, Will. For a novice, Photoshop does have a pretty steep learning curve - especially if you are not graphically inclined. Your article is a winner and a keeper!
