Today I did a serious trimming so as. in the words of Naka-san. to allow the birds to fly through. Also some lime sulfer on the deadwood.
Height is about 35 inches. Circumference of trunk at base is about 22 inches.
Pot made by Sara Rayner especially for this bonsai.

Congratulations on an excellent tree with enviable gnarled trunk and the wonderful deadwood. The branch placement is good too. A thought if you choose to consider. The apex is rather flattish and not clearly defined. You may want to elevate the currently flat apex and give the tree a little more pointed apex.

Gently curved perhaps: pointed, no. Bear in mind it is just pruned, Ravi.

Richard - Just when I thought I had got my words right you have proved me wrong. I was sure that my words of "A little more pointed" conveyed what I wanted to say, but the point seems to be missed. So I chose a thousand words - a picture, to communicate what I had in mind. Hope I am successful this time around. Please be assured that I have not taken any offense as I pen this reply and hoping you'd take none too :)
